Senior DevOps Engineer, CI/CD Platform (Developer Experience)

Location: A Coruña, Spain; office-first flexible approach with on-site work 80% of the time and remote work supported 20% of the time

What you will do

• Own CI and CD Kubernetes clusters, including capacity, reliability, upgrades, security, and cost.
• Operate self-hosted GitHub Actions runners at scale with Actions Runner Controller, ephemeral pods, runner images, and Docker-in-Docker.
• Maintain test data services including MySQL, Redis, and ClickHouse alongside Rails application containers.
• Design build caching, registry mirrors, and platform instrumentation to reduce queue wait and build duration.
• Manage infrastructure as code and GitOps delivery using Terraform, Flux, Argo CD, Kustomize, and Helm.
• Provision and operate bare-metal infrastructure, lead incident response, and improve alerts, guardrails, and runbooks.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience running production infrastructure with Kubernetes at its core.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes scheduling, resource limits, evictions, node pressure, DaemonSets, controllers, and operators.
• Strong Linux and container fundamentals, including containerd or Docker, cgroups, namespaces, storage drivers, and networking.
• Experience with Terraform, infrastructure as code, platform-level CI/CD, GitHub Actions, self-hosted runners, and build caching.
• Automation skills with Bash and at least one of Python or Go, plus practical observability experience with metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, OpenTelemetry, and Prometheus-style tooling.
• Operational maturity in on-call work, incident command, postmortems, capacity planning, cost management, and clear written English documentation.

Nice to have

• Experience with large Ruby on Rails test suites, MySQL, Redis, ClickHouse, or bare-metal infrastructure.
• Knowledge of overlay and WireGuard-style networking, VLANs, Kubernetes CNIs such as Cilium, or internal developer tooling.
• Experience with supply-chain security, runner isolation, secret scoping, image provenance, multiple clouds, or open-source infrastructure projects.
