About the Role
You will lead the Agents & AI-Native team while remaining hands-on in code. You will own the agent runtime, durable execution, model strategy, evaluations, security reviews, and operational reliability. You will establish engineering standards, coordinate delivery with other teams, and support hiring and development.
Requirements
- Technical leadership of a team of 3 to 6 people and delivery of a production system
- Production experience with LLM systems that execute actions through tool calling or agents
- Experience designing and operating durable execution or workflow-oriented systems
- Practical knowledge of tactical DDD and hexagonal architecture
- Strong production backend experience with TypeScript and Node.js
- Experience documenting technical trade-offs in ADRs
- Rigorous use of coding agents and ability to teach the team
- Clear engineering and business writing and technical English reading
Responsibilities
- Lead and unblock the engineering team
- Own the agent runtime, including execution, limits, cost control, and human intervention
- Design durable agent execution with retries, idempotency, resumption, and versioning
- Define model, provider, evaluation, and production-readiness strategies
- Set code, testing, and review standards
- Own operational and security reviews, including SLOs, incidents, prompt injection, tenant isolation, and personal data
- Coordinate with engineering, product, and domain specialists
- Participate in hiring and people development
