Principal Technical Program Manager

Location: Onsite at the J Street Office Space, Bentonville, Arkansas, United States

Annual salary: $110,000–$220,000 in Bentonville, Arkansas; $143,000–$286,000 in Sunnyvale, California. Additional performance bonuses and potential stock compensation may apply.

What you will do

• Lead large-scale technical programs, defining goals, timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional dependencies.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on system design, architecture, technology solutions, and operational excellence.
• Identify program risks, create mitigation plans, and drive timely resolution.
• Establish scalable workflows, prioritization frameworks, and communication strategies across stakeholder groups.
• Analyze data to guide decisions, optimize processes, and improve program outcomes.
• Mentor team members on program management practices and technical design considerations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field plus 6 years of relevant experience, or 8 years of relevant experience without a degree.
• Experience in engineering, engineering program management, technical program management, product management, or a related area.
• Strong program and project management skills, including risk and stakeholder management across complex initiatives.
• Technical design knowledge spanning software, hardware, and cloud infrastructure.
• Ability to translate product requirements into scalable, highly available system architectures.
• Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, leadership, and mentoring skills.

Nice to have

• Project Management certification.
• Master’s degree in Business Administration with a relevant specialization.
• Experience in product design.
• Knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility practices.
