Project Manager - Data Centers

Location: Rosebery, Sydney, NSW, Australia. This is an on-site role requiring practical involvement in data centre project delivery. Locally based candidates are preferred, with sponsorship potentially considered for suitable applicants from the UK or APAC.

Salary: A$160,000–A$190,000 per annum, with flexibility up to A$200,000 depending on experience.

hirify.global is partnering with an established digital infrastructure specialist expanding its data centre delivery team.

What you will do

• Lead data centre projects from planning through delivery and handover, maintaining schedules and budgets.
• Manage site teams, technicians, and subcontractors against technical specifications and client expectations.
• Own project budgets, forecasts, costs, and variations to maintain commercial performance.
• Coordinate clients, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve delivery challenges.
• Maintain high standards of safety and quality during on-site delivery.

Requirements

• Proven project management experience delivering data centre projects in a contractor or trade environment.
• Experience leading larger delivery teams and coordinating subcontractors.
• Strong financial and commercial skills, including budgeting, cost control, and variation management.
• Practical technical knowledge and a hands-on understanding of site delivery.
• Availability for on-site work in Rosebery, Sydney, NSW, Australia.

Nice to have

• Trade or tools background, including previous experience as a technician or Site Manager.
• Progression from hands-on technical delivery into project management.
• Relevant project management qualifications.
