SBA Lending Specialist III (Hybrid)

What you will do

• Coordinate, prepare, and submit SBA and other government program loan packages, purchase claims, charge-offs, and offers in compromise.
• Review loan, closing, insurance, disbursement, and modification documentation for SBA, regulatory, and internal policy compliance.
• Advise sales, underwriting, CAM Workout/Special Assets, service centers, and centralized departments on deal structuring and program requirements.
• Process loan servicing actions, modifications, guarantee purchase requests, accounting transactions, and portfolio reporting.
• Identify and resolve documentation deficiencies and escalate risk-related issues when required.
• Conduct training on SBA programs, policy changes, procedures, and job aids.

Requirements

• Must work in a hybrid arrangement based in Buffalo, New York, United States of America.
• Bachelor’s degree and at least five years of experience with SBA loan products and documentation.
• Alternatively, at least nine years of combined higher education and work experience.
• Experience with government lending documentation, loan servicing, modifications, and regulatory or policy compliance.
• Ability to work with business banking, underwriting, sales, servicing, and special-assets stakeholders.
• Ability to follow SBA standard operating procedures and internal risk and control standards.
