Quality Inspector (APU 3-D) (Medtech)

Location: Buffalo Grove, Illinois, United States; onsite, 12-hour rotating night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:15 AM, including every other weekend

Salary: $20.00–$26.00 USD per hour, plus a 10% night shift differential

What you will do

• Support the Quality Lead and Operational Quality Manager in executing quality and operational efficiency objectives.
• Read and interpret part drawings, specifications, manuals, and inspection procedures.
• Inspect, test, and measure materials, products, and work using calipers, gauges, micrometers, force gauges, CMM, optical gaging machines, and leak testing equipment.
• Analyze test data, perform calculations, collect samples, and verify product characteristics against approved standards.
• Review and approve lot documentation, mark acceptance or rejection status, and reject nonconforming products or materials.
• Prepare nonconformance, rework instruction, and deviation reports and discuss corrective actions with responsible stakeholders.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in a quality-related profession.
• Ability to use gauges, inspection fixtures, and leak testing equipment.
• Ability to use productivity software and Statistical Process Control tools.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for 75% of the shift.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Associate degree preferred.
