In-Process Inspector (Weekend)

Location: Hollister, CA, United States. Weekend shift: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 5:00 AM–6:00 PM. U.S. citizenship is required due to U.S. Government contractual requirements. The role is subject to U.S. export-control regulations and ongoing employment may depend on obtaining the required government authorizations.

Salary range: $18.61–$34.57 per hour, plus eligibility for a performance-based quarterly bonus.

What you will do

• Perform repetitive dimensional, mechanical, and electrical inspections using established procedures and basic test equipment.
• Use calipers, micrometers, optical comparators, and electrical test equipment to verify product quality.
• Interpret engineering drawings and written work instructions.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and reports while applying strong attention to detail.
• Plan and execute assigned tasks efficiently, minimizing production delays and collaborating across manufacturing areas.
• Attend offsite certification training and interface professionally with customer representatives when needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4–6 years of experience in manufacturing or quality preferred.
• Proficiency with mechanical measurement tools, including calipers, micrometers, and optical comparators.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and instructions accurately.
• Strong written, verbal, mathematical, analytical, and computer skills.
• Ability to read and write English for interpreting and documenting work instructions and reports; U.S. citizenship and applicable export-control eligibility are required.
