Customer Engineer (iTeam)

Location: Singapore, SGP; the role requires on-site customer and clean-room work, travel to overseas customers up to 75% of the time, and is not relocation eligible.

What you will do

• Install, maintain, and upgrade customer equipment alongside senior field service engineers.
• Use digital analytics and basic diagnostic techniques to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems.
• Communicate directly with customers and coordinate activities to support equipment operation.
• Travel overseas to provide customer and field-service support.
• Work in clean-room environments while following safety, environmental, and customer protocols.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
• More than two years of experience in customer support, field service, engineering, or a related technical field.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics and resolve basic technical challenges.
• Basic mechanical aptitude in areas such as pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, vacuum, or thermodynamics.
• Familiarity with hand tools and digital multimeters, plus basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time and meet on-site, safety, environmental, and customer protocol requirements.
