Health Information Supervisor (Healthcare Data)

Location: Within a 190-mile territory from Willits, CA to Lodi, CA; support is performed both on-site and remotely. Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. PT.

What you will do

• Lead health information service teams, manage workflow, and maintain productivity and client quality standards.
• Train, motivate, develop, and support staff across multiple client locations.
• Lead audit requests from payors and manage requests from client risk management teams.
• Review data, provide solutions to clients and leadership, and coordinate complex operational issues.
• Oversee escalations from centralized call centers and collaborate with leadership on challenges and opportunities.
• Participate in projects and committees focused on operational strategy and process improvement.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of health information-related experience.
• At least 2 years of preferred leadership, customer service, data entry, and release of information or HIM experience.
• Strong knowledge of HIPAA standards and accurate, compliant medical-record handling.
• Ability to support clients and teams both on-site and remotely within the assigned California territory.
• Ability to present to leadership, clients, and staff in person or by video.
• Power BI and Microsoft Office experience.

Nice to have

• EMR experience with EPIC or Cerner.
• Production or metric-based work experience.
• Experience building teams and supporting career development.
