Staff Frontend Engineer (React)

Location: Remote, associated with Engineering Argentina and São Paulo, Brazil

hirify.global is a chef-to-consumer marketplace delivering restaurant-quality meals and supporting chefs through a subscription-based food delivery platform.

What you will do

• Lead frontend architecture for landing pages, sign-up, meal selection, checkout, and other acquisition surfaces.
• Build and optimize customer-facing applications using React and Next.js, with a strong focus on performance.
• Define and maintain technical standards for A/B experiments, feature gates, exposure logging, and tracking integrity.
• Drive observability through real-user monitoring, funnel-step metrics, and cross-device and browser quality improvements.
• Lead integrations with authentication, pricing, promotions, and other backend platform services.
• Mentor engineers, improve code quality through reviews and knowledge sharing, and support the on-call rotation.

Requirements

• Experience building and shipping complex customer-facing applications at scale.
• Strong hands-on experience with React and Next.js.
• Experience with A/B testing or feature-flag platforms such as Statsig or LaunchDarkly.
• Experience with web analytics and telemetry tools such as Segment or Datadog RUM, plus CMS-driven sites such as Contentful.
• Advanced English communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Natural leadership, cross-functional collaboration, adaptability, and a self-motivated approach to learning.

Nice to have

• Experience with growth or conversion-focused teams.
• Accessibility experience, including WCAG.
• Experience working on small collaborative engineering teams or in fast-paced environments.
• Experience in food technology.
