Staff Pharmacist - Overnights/Weekends - Remote (Pharmacist License IL, NE, HI, IA, CA) Per Diem

Location: Remote, anywhere within the United States. Schedule: 7 on/7 off, approximately 52 hours per pay period, including evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.

Hourly rate: $54–$91 USD, depending on experience and geographic location. The role may also qualify for an annual bonus plan.

What you will do

• Complete remote order entry, order verification, and drug verification for multiple hospitals.
• Perform transitions-of-care medication reconciliation and document clinical interventions accurately.
• Provide drug information and therapeutic guidance to physicians, nurses, and other care providers.
• Assess medication appropriateness, dosing, renal and hepatic adjustments, interactions, and compatibilities.
• Support specialized populations and complex therapies, including pediatrics, geriatrics, pregnancy and lactation, HIV, IV therapies, TPN, cardiac and narcotic drips, IV antibiotics, and chemotherapy.
• Work across VPNs, automation systems, and multiple pharmacy information systems while meeting quality and productivity standards.

Requirements

• Active pharmacist licensure in Illinois or California is required; additional licensure in Iowa, Nebraska, and Hawaii may be required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy required; PharmD preferred.
• At least one year of hospital pharmacy experience strongly preferred.
• Strong clinical knowledge and comfort working across multiple pharmacy information systems.
• Ability to work overnight, evening, weekend, and holiday schedules.
• For home work, cable broadband or fiber internet with at least 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload is required.
