Medicaid Plan Pharmacy Director

Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States; hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote

Salary: $121,200–$225,200 annual base pay; annual incentive bonus plan may apply.

What you will do

• Lead pharmacy strategy execution for an individual Medicaid health plan.
• Oversee regulatory compliance and state-specific Medicaid requirements.
• Manage financial performance, including quality withhold and penalty programs.
• Improve member and provider experience through pharmacy program leadership.
• Partner with enterprise clinical and pharmacy operations teams in a matrixed organization.
• Engage stakeholders and resolve issues involving customers, employees, and management.

Requirements

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent experience.
• Registered pharmacist in the state.
• 7+ years of experience in managed care pharmacy.
• Knowledge of medication use evaluation principles and drug information practices.
• Analytical, verbal, written communication, and issue-resolution skills.
• Ability to use word processing, spreadsheet, and relational database software and remain at a workstation for extended periods.
