Accounting Manager

Location: Remote

Salary: $95,000–$110,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Own end-to-end month-end close, including journal entries, accruals, prepayments, consolidations, intercompany eliminations, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Perform monthly revenue and operating expense variance analysis with FP&A and translate findings into insights for leadership.
• Manage full-cycle accounts payable, including vendor onboarding, invoice processing, payment runs, corporate cards, and expense management tools.
• Support the evaluation, design, and implementation of the next-generation ERP accounting system.
• Prepare audit-ready workpapers, schedules, and internal controls for external financial audits.
• Partner with Finance, People, and Operations leaders on accounting and operational initiatives.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of progressive experience in general ledger accounting, public accounting, or financial operations in a high-growth, multi-state startup environment.
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, multi-entity consolidations, complex journal entries, and variance analysis.
• Hands-on experience with cloud accounting systems such as NetSuite or QuickBooks.
• Experience with spend management platforms such as Ramp, Bill.com, or Rippling.
• Direct exposure to ERP implementations and external financial audit preparation.
