Senior Manager (AI)

Location: On-site in San Francisco or Sunnyvale, California, US

Compensation: Up to $250,000–$300,000 annually, plus bonus and restricted stock units

What you will do

• Lead multiple Developer Experience charters, including an AI remote agent platform, standard engineering agents, and coding harness support.
• Partner across the organization to build fast, reliable, and broadly adopted developer workflows.
• Identify and automate repetitive development tasks to improve engineering productivity.
• Develop libraries, tools, and pre-production environments for service API validation and complex microservice interactions.
• Integrate internal tools and vendor services to automate workflows, improve operational efficiency, and optimize security.
• Establish continuous quality delivery practices and efficient systems that scale with engineering growth.

Requirements

• Experience leading multiple Developer Experience team charters and managing other managers.
• Expertise in evaluating technical trade-offs and understanding how infrastructure decisions affect developer productivity.
• Fluent knowledge of AI tooling, build tooling, containerization, and open-source development frameworks.
• Professional experience with Kubernetes, container orchestration, DevOps, SRE, Release Engineering, or similar disciplines.
• Deep understanding of automated testing infrastructure and CI/CD integration.
• Expertise in Go and Git-based workflows using GitLab or GitHub, plus a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related analytical field, or equivalent experience.
