Certified Investment Advisor and Regulatory Officer (Fintech)

Location: Mexico City, hybrid; 3–4 days per week in-office

What you will do

• Act as the certified investment advisor and regulatory officer for hirify.global’s investment advisory entity in Mexico.
• Own investor profiling, product profiling, suitability assessments, recommendation reasonableness, and documentation.
• Maintain core policies covering the Marco General de Actuación, Guía de Servicios de Inversión, conflicts of interest, and disclosures.
• Serve as the primary contact for the CNBV, including information requests, supervisory visits, remediation, and regulatory reporting.
• Translate regulatory requirements into product specifications with product, engineering, and legal teams.
• Review customer-facing content, model portfolios, and investment communications while contributing to future licensing initiatives.

Requirements

• Current AMIB certification for investment advisory or willingness to obtain certification.
• At least 5 years of experience in investment advisory, wealth management, or investment-services compliance at a CNBV-regulated entity.
• Strong knowledge of the Ley del Mercado de Valores and the Disposiciones de Servicios de Inversión.
• Hands-on experience with investor profiling and suitability frameworks.
• Ability to work with product and engineering teams and convert regulations into practical product requirements.
• Spanish and professional English required.

Nice to have

• Direct experience with CNBV information requests or supervisory visits.
• Experience at a digital broker, robo-advisor, or wealth fintech.
• Knowledge of ETFs, US-listed securities, PLD/FT obligations, or CNBV systems such as SITI.
• Experience establishing a regulated entity or obtaining a licence in Mexico.
