Civil Project Manager (Site Design/Municipal)

Location: Remote or hybrid within Nebraska, with the ability to travel to Nebraska office locations for in-office activities, client meetings, and site visits as needed. Office options include Grand Island, Kearney, Lincoln, Norfolk, Omaha, and South Sioux City.

What you will do

• Lead complex and high-priority site design and municipal projects across multidisciplinary teams.
• Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and delivery plans while tracking financial and schedule performance.
• Assemble project teams, coordinate internal resources, and assign responsibilities based on project objectives.
• Manage contract negotiations, change requests, project risks, and strategies to minimize financial impact.
• Review technical work and project deliverables to ensure quality and compliance with contract requirements.
• Maintain client relationships, document project records, and mentor staff in project management practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Landscape Architecture.
• At least 8 years of experience in site design and development.
• Project management experience covering scope, schedule, and budget control.
• Registered Professional Engineer or Landscape Architect.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work remotely or in a hybrid arrangement within Nebraska and travel to Nebraska offices, client locations, and project sites as needed.
