Consultant - Data Engineering (Snowflake)

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines, integration solutions, and data architectures.
• Build scalable data storage, processing, and analytics solutions in Snowflake.
• Collect and analyze data, test hypotheses, and develop recommendations for insurance clients.
• Support complex consulting engagements and collaborate directly with client stakeholders.
• Diagnose and resolve data engineering issues across multiple initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information systems, risk management, business analytics, economics, engineering, or a related field.
• 1–3+ years of data engineering and consulting or business analyst experience.
• Recent hands-on experience with Snowflake, including ingestion, storage, performance optimization, and security.
• Experience with dbt, Qlik Replicate, Qlik Compose, GitHub, dbt Labs, Astronomer, ETL, data modeling, and data warehousing.
• Programming skills in SQL and scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell, plus experience with AWS or Azure.
• Financial services experience, preferably in insurance, with strong communication, problem-solving, and executive presentation skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with data quality, data governance, and data lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with recognized consulting frameworks and business process mapping.
