Enterprise MuleSoft Integration Engineer / Architect

Location: Ft. Belvoir, Virginia, United States. Onsite work required.

What you will do

• Architect, build, and centrally manage a scalable enterprise MuleSoft platform, runtime architecture, data hub, and API gateway.
• Modernize legacy point-to-point and batch integrations into System, Process, and Experience APIs.
• Administer API managers, runtime environments, client applications, contracts, SLA tiers, policies, versioning, and lifecycle promotion.
• Design API specifications and complex DataWeave transformations across JSON, XML, CSV, flat-file, and database formats.
• Integrate Army logistics, SAP-based ERP systems, Salesforce, ServiceNow, databases, message brokers, and transactional systems.
• Implement CI/CD, CloudHub, Runtime Fabric, Kubernetes, AWS GovCloud, security controls, observability, and platform governance standards.

Requirements

• Active Secret security clearance required; only US citizens can obtain the required clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline or equivalent professional experience.
• Baseline security or computing-environment certification, such as Security+ CE, CySA+, CISSP, MuleSoft Certified Integration Associate, or AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner.
• 7+ years of software development and enterprise systems integration experience, including 5+ years designing and delivering enterprise-scale API gateway and management platforms.
• Experience migrating isolated MuleSoft environments to centrally managed, multi-program shared platforms with controlled sandboxes.
• Strong proficiency with IaC, Kubernetes, integration-flow governance, cloud and on-premises connectivity, and API-based enterprise identity services.
