Quality Manager (LNG)

What you will do

• Manage the project Quality Management System and lead QA/QC activities through construction, mechanical completion, commissioning, and startup.
• Oversee quality activities across civil and structural construction, mechanical equipment, piping, welding, NDE/NDT, electrical and instrumentation systems, and module fabrication.
• Supervise quality personnel, inspectors, auditors, and field quality representatives.
• Implement Inspection and Test Plans, quality procedures, inspection programs, and supplier and vendor quality surveillance.
• Manage non-conformance reports, corrective and preventive actions, root cause investigations, audits, quality metrics, and contractor performance.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams to resolve quality issues and complete turnover documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, project management, or a related technical discipline; equivalent construction experience may substitute.
• At least 10 years of quality management experience on LNG, petrochemical, refinery, gas processing, power generation, or heavy industrial projects.
• At least 5 years in a quality leadership role on major capital projects.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ASME, API, ASTM, AWS, welding and fabrication quality, NDE/NDT, supplier quality, inspection planning, mechanical completion, turnover, commissioning, and startup requirements.
• Experience managing contractor and subcontractor quality performance and leading multidisciplinary quality teams.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, organizational, documentation, and record-retention skills.

Nice to have

• Direct SAGD project experience.
• ASQ CQE, CQA, equivalent quality certification, or ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification.
• Professional Engineer license.
• Experience with EPC, EPCM, or owner-led execution models, modular fabrication yards, international supply chains, or projects exceeding $500 million in total installed cost.
