Legal AI & Automation Analyst

Location: Hybrid role based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, with an on-site presence required for collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.

What you will do

• Design, build, test, and deploy Harvey AI solutions such as Workflow Agents, Review Tables, and Playbooks.
• Partner with attorneys, paralegals, and business teams to convert repetitive processes into structured AI workflows.
• Validate AI-generated outputs and refine solutions using user feedback, performance data, and quality results.
• Expand AI capabilities into Regulatory Affairs, Risk, Equity Administration, Compliance, Sourcing, and Human Resources.
• Lead ideation sessions, user training, onboarding, technical support, and enterprise software adoption.
• Track usage, efficiency gains, and cost savings while maintaining workflow documentation, governance, privacy, and confidentiality standards.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with generative AI tools such as Harvey, Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or Claude, including advanced prompt design and refinement.
• Experience designing or automating multi-step workflows with AI platforms, low-code/no-code tools, Microsoft Power Automate, or Copilot Studio.
• At least 2 years of experience in a technical, analytical, AI-focused, business systems, automation, solutions, or technology implementation role.
• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, data analytics, information science, legal studies, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, testing, documentation, and project management skills, with discretion when handling confidential information.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365, including Excel, Word, Teams, and SharePoint.

Nice to have

• Direct experience with Harvey AI Workflow Agents, Review Tables, or Playbooks.
• Knowledge of LLMs, retrieval-augmented generation, AI agents, structured data extraction, responsible AI, and AI governance.
• Experience with Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Python, SQL, APIs, legal documents, contracts, or legal technology platforms.
• Experience creating training materials, supporting AI pilots or rollouts, or working in legal, compliance, risk, financial services, insurance, or fintech environments.
• AI, automation, Microsoft Power Platform, or process improvement certifications.
