Principal Business Consultant (Axioma Technology Solutions)

Location: London; hybrid workplace with two office days each week

What you will do

• Lead risk and performance attribution implementation and client onboarding projects from design through delivery.
• Design and build ETL processes for client data integration and analytics delivery.
• Lead solution design engagements and translate business requirements into technical architecture.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, operations, sales, and pre-sales teams to support successful rollouts.
• Validate delivery timelines, identify functional gaps, improve project estimates, and maintain project documentation.
• Contribute to the analytics integration strategy and implementation approach for the SimCorpOne platform.

Requirements

• Degree in a quantitative or technical discipline such as mathematics, statistics, physics, finance, computer science, engineering, or econometrics.
• At least 5 years of experience delivering SaaS solutions.
• Practical programming experience in Python, Java, or C#.
• Experience designing and integrating solutions with REST APIs and web services.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to users with different experience levels.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills; the role is based in London with regular office attendance.

Nice to have

• Risk qualifications such as CFA, FRM, or CAIA.
• Project management or Agile qualifications such as PMP or PRINCE2.
• Experience with granular or factor-based risk models and financial-services domains including risk, valuation, and performance.
• Experience mentoring junior team members and familiarity with frontier LLM applications.
• Fluency in additional languages.
