Project Leader Risk and Compliance, LAB (Financial Services)

Location: London, United Kingdom; projects cover the UK, Netherlands, Ireland, and Belgium markets. Travel is required according to business needs.

What you will do

• Lead case execution and deliver risk and compliance expertise for financial institution clients.
• Advise clients on risk strategy, regulatory transformation, credit risk, and other non-financial risks.
• Expand the Risk & Compliance practice in London and the wider UK, Netherlands, Ireland, and Belgium markets.
• Originate business opportunities and build senior client relationships, particularly in financial institutions.
• Develop regional and global thought leadership, content, and intellectual property.
• Mentor, coach, and develop consultants and associates while collaborating with BCG colleagues and client stakeholders.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of consulting and/or industry experience in risk and compliance.
• Extensive financial services experience across banking, asset management, insurance, or related sectors.
• Proven experience advising senior stakeholders on regulatory, compliance, and risk transformations.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
• Strong fluency in applying AI tools to project delivery.
• Fluent English is required. An excellent academic record and willingness to travel are also required.
