Specialist Procurement Electric AM (Automotive)

What you will do

• Manage procurement of direct and indirect materials for an assigned commodity, focusing on cost, quality, delivery, and technology.
• Own strategic supplier relationships, act as the primary supplier contact, and escalate issues to management when required.
• Analyze procurement markets, identify trends, and develop recommendations and cost-saving initiatives.
• Request, compare, and evaluate bids while supporting make-or-buy analyses and supplier determination.
• Search for, evaluate, select, approve, and onboard new suppliers in cooperation with relevant departments.
• Negotiate and manage complex supplier contracts, promote new technologies and substitutes, and coordinate with global buyers and cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Degree or professional background in business, engineering, finance, supply chain, or a related field.
• 10–15 years of experience in contract negotiations.
• At least 5 years of automotive product knowledge.
• Business-level English required.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, product integrity, customer-specific requirements, risk analysis, troubleshooting tools, and statistical tools.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, SLC, Adonis, eSourcing, and PLM Teamcenter.
