SAP Senior Manufacturing Execution Expert (SAP Digital Manufacturing)

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina, United States. Candidates not already located in Charlotte must be willing to relocate; relocation assistance may be provided. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

What you will do

• Lead deployment, adoption, and continuous improvement of SAP Digital Manufacturing and manufacturing execution processes.
• Translate business requirements from manufacturing, production planning, engineering, and IT teams into shop-floor solutions.
• Integrate SAP Digital Manufacturing with SAP S/4HANA Production Planning and other manufacturing systems.
• Support production reporting, data collection, work instructions, and operator-facing processes.
• Drive testing, issue resolution, user training, implementation, go-live, and stabilization.
• Act as the functional expert for SAP Digital Manufacturing and long-term manufacturing system performance.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience with MES, SAP Digital Manufacturing, manufacturing systems, or related shop-floor technologies.
• Strong understanding of SAP Production Planning and its integration with manufacturing execution systems.
• Experience with SAP Digital Manufacturing, MES deployments, or manufacturing transformation initiatives.
• Knowledge of production execution, manufacturing operations, shop-floor processes, and manufacturing data management.
• Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA manufacturing environments and cross-functional integrations.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and change management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in industrial, heavy manufacturing, capital equipment, transformer, or other complex discrete manufacturing environments.
