Entry Level Aerospace Technician (Aerospace)

hirify.global is developing Nova, a fully and rapidly reusable launch vehicle designed to reduce launch costs, increase availability, and improve the reliability of space transportation.

What you will do

• Support the operations and facilities departments during the initial 12-week phase.
• Assist operations and manufacturing teams with hands-on production tasks.
• Develop skills in machining, fabrication, assembly, and other industrial processes.
• Complete two three-month technical rotations in either assembly or fabrication.
• Use provided tools and training while working with experienced technician mentors.
• Maintain safe working habits and careful attention to detail in a manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, completed or in progress.
• At least 18 years old.
• Experience with hand tools and mechanical assemblies.
• Strong written and verbal communication, willingness to learn, and safe working habits.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds unassisted, stand for extended periods, and work in tight spaces with repetitive movements, bending, twisting, stooping, and crawling.
• Must meet U.S. ITAR requirements and be legally authorized to work with restricted U.S. space technology and technical data.

Nice to have

• Previous exposure to machining, welding, or mechanical assemblies.
• Forklift experience.

Hiring process

• The initial program lasts 36 weeks in three 12-week phases, with advancement reviewed after each phase.
• Full-time employment may be considered after successful completion of the 36-week period.
