Sr. Specialist, Subcontracts (Defense)

What you will do

• Manage complex, high-dollar, multi-year subcontracts and related operational processes.
• Prepare, review, negotiate, and manage supplier Statements of Work.
• Tailor and negotiate procurement terms and conditions for specialized materials, equipment, and services.
• Negotiate and coordinate additions, deletions, and modifications to subcontracts.
• Improve subcontract systems and processes through analysis, investigation, and problem solving.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and training while delegating work and reviewing deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree plus six years of experience, graduate degree plus four years, or at least ten years of related experience in procurement or subcontracts.
• Experience with highly complex, multi-year, high-dollar subcontracts.
• Experience with SAP and the ability to troubleshoot within SAP.
• Expertise in negotiating costs, terms, and conditions.
• Understanding of FAR and DFARS requirements.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance; security clearances may only be granted to U.S. citizens.
