Versant Summer Internships: MS NOW News & Content Production

Location: On-site in Washington, D.C., United States

What you will do

• Support MS NOW, a national news organization covering breaking news and opinion journalism.
• Contribute to news work across television, online, social media, and audio platforms.
• Gain hands-on exposure to newsroom operations and content production.
• Work with the MS NOW D.C. Bureau and collaborate with teams across hirify.global.

Requirements

• Must work on-site in the Washington, D.C. office.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States and must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be actively enrolled in an accredited degree-granting program throughout the internship or graduate in Spring 2027.
• Must be a sophomore or above with at least 30 credits.
• Must be available for 40 hours per week from June 7, 2027, through August 13, 2027.
• Applicants who graduated in 2026 or earlier are not eligible.

Nice to have

• Junior or senior class standing.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Strong interest in the media industry.
• Previous internship experience or on-campus involvement.
