What you will do

• Write, copy edit, prepare, and publish news, community, promotional, video, photo, and written content across websites, social media, broadcast news, streaming, and mobile apps.
• Edit videos and photos sourced from newsroom systems for online, social, and streaming platforms.
• Create graphics, videos, livestreams, alerts, and concise social media copy.
• Maintain website homepages, special sections, streaming schedules, and ongoing coverage initiatives.
• Monitor real-time metrics and past content performance to guide editorial decisions and identify audience interests.
• Collaborate with newsroom staff and station contributors to plan and publish daily and long-term content.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism or video production, or at least two years of relevant experience in video editing, digital content production, or a related field.
• Experience with Adobe video and photo editing tools, video content management, streaming platforms, OBS/VMIX, ENPS, WordPress, and SEO best practices.
• Proven experience managing website and social account brands and growing audiences.
• Strong news judgment, writing and editing skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with journalistic standards.
• Ability to work under extreme deadline pressure, multitask, make quick decisions, and adapt to shifting priorities.
• Schedule flexibility is required for nights, weekends, and holidays.

Nice to have

• Ability to produce Spanish-language content.
• Basic HTML, CSS, Flash, and other relevant technology skills.
