Production Test Technician (Radar Hardware)

What you will do

• Move and stage radar systems weighing more than 200 lbs using mechanical assistance and lift equipment.
• Power up radar systems and connect power, network, signal, and external peripheral interfaces.
• Verify P2P dishes, compass and heading modules, network upload, satellite connectivity, 5G modem, UPS, and other I/O.
• Operate the radar software interface to review health and status and determine pass or fail against documented procedures.
• Track serialized units, configurations, test steps, results, and defects with accurate documentation.
• Log failed parts and interfaces, coordinate replacements with production, escalate blockers, and maintain a clean, safe test area.

Requirements

• Associate degree in electronics or electrical technology, equivalent military electronics or avionics training, trade school, or relevant hands-on experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in electronics manufacturing, testing, integration, or equipment maintenance.
• Hands-on ability to assemble, connect, and disassemble hardware using common hand tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot cables, connectors, network and power interfaces and read basic diagrams and procedures.
• Comfort using software and computer interfaces to run tests and read system status; coding is not required.
• Ability to safely move heavy equipment with mechanical assistance, stand for extended periods, follow procedures precisely, and maintain accurate records.

Nice to have

• Experience in regulated, defense, aerospace, RF, antenna, networking, or power-system environments.
• IPC-A-610, IPC J-STD-001, or ETA CET certification, or willingness to earn certification.
• Experience with defect tracking, MES, serialized-unit tracking, or ESD-controlled environments.
• Comfort with Linux or command-line tools.
• Active security clearance.
