Developer Support Engineer (API)

Location: Warsaw, Poland; office-centric hybrid schedule with in-office work on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays and remote work available on Wednesdays and Fridays.

Salary: 15,417–16,980 PLN gross monthly on a contract of employment.

What you will do

• Provide technical support for customers and developers by debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving API-related issues.
• Triage API bugs and critical incidents, escalating them to Engineering and other R&D teams.
• Support developers through email, community forums, live chat, and internal Slack channels.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Developer Relations, and Customer Support to improve APIs and communicate releases, changelogs, and deprecations.
• Review third-party app integrations against security and compliance guidelines.
• Update developer documentation and support communications during incidents involving APIs, webhooks, or event streams.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in technical support, developer support, application development, or a related role.
• Experience developing or integrating applications with APIs, including personal projects.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills for explaining technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong understanding of REST API fundamentals, including HTTP methods, JSON, pagination, query parameters, and request and response bodies.
• Ability to write and debug JavaScript or Python scripts for interacting with APIs.
• Excellent troubleshooting, debugging, and cross-functional collaboration skills in fast-paced and ambiguous environments.

Nice to have

• Understanding of OAuth and authentication protocols.
• Basic Git proficiency and familiarity with command-line tools and Linux/Unix navigation.
• Experience with webhooks, event-driven architectures, developer relations, technical writing, or API advocacy.
• Experience with the Asana API or similar productivity tool APIs, including PowerBI or Tableau custom connectors.
• Public speaking, blogging, or technical content creation experience.
