What you will do

• Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and actionable insights.
• Build predictive models, dashboards, and visualizations supporting business objectives and user experience.
• Apply statistical techniques and programming skills to support data storytelling and decision-making.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and engineers on data-driven projects.
• Gain practical experience through hands-on projects connected to semiconductor products and processes.

Requirements

• Pursuing a PhD in data science, computer science, statistics, electrical engineering, physics, materials science, or a related scientific field connected to semiconductors.
• 0–1 years of hands-on experience in data analytics or programming through internships, academic projects, coursework, or training.
• At least 6 months of experience with semiconductor materials, fabrication, device physics, electrical characterization, or statistical methods for data analysis.
• Available for on-site work in Hillsboro, Oregon, United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with advanced transistor structures, device physics, process monitoring, test-structure design, or layout.
• Experience with device and circuit simulation, statistical process control, design of experiments, or engineering analysis tools.
• Knowledge of databases, JMP, MATLAB, Octave, JSL, Perl, TCL, Python, SQL, C, or C++.
• Experience with agentic AI, orchestrated LLM workflows, machine learning, deep learning, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, knowledge engineering, or dataflow pipelines.
