What you will do

• Design, extend, and optimize a large-scale, highly scalable, and fault-tolerant system.
• Architect and implement Security products to protect customer data.
• Solve real-world scaling problems requiring performance analysis and troubleshooting.
• Work with a modern microservices-based software stack (Go, Kubernetes, BigTable, BigQuery, Spanner, Redis, Docker, Etcd).
• Write secure-by-design hardened software that withstands real-world attacks.

Requirements

• Strong track record in building backends at scale.
• Experience developing large applications in Go, Java, C#, Scala, Kotlin, or Rust.
• Experience with databases at a very large scale.
• Experience profiling and optimizing distributed code that uses large databases and streaming platforms.
• Hands-on experience with microservices and Kubernetes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
