What you will do

• Design and maintain backend services and APIs that power the platform's control plane functionality.
• Develop scalable and reliable services operating in distributed, cloud-native environments.
• Contribute to system architecture discussions focusing on scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Build integrations between the control plane and external systems such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Optimize backend services for latency, throughput, and concurrency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across distributed systems and services.

Requirements

• 4–7 years of professional experience in backend software development.
• Strong proficiency in Java; knowledge of Go is a plus.
• Experience with distributed systems and microservices architectures.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with identity, authentication, or security systems (SAML, OAuth, PKI, certificates).
• Experience working in SaaS or multi-tenant environments.
• Exposure to infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience with high-throughput or real-time systems.
