Senior Data Protection Analyst

Location: Remote from Mexico

What you will do

• Investigate insider-threat signals, endpoint forensics, data-security incidents, and data-loss risks across customer environments.
• Analyze Data Detection & Response event data to improve policies, incidents, and alerts.
• Partner with customers to develop incident-response workflows aligned with their security objectives and policies.
• Refine datasets and policies as customer data-risk strategies and business needs evolve.
• Prepare formal incident summaries and presentations for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate with Product and Development on strategies for monitoring and preventing data loss, including reducing false positives.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with data-protection products, endpoint-protection best practices, and incident-mitigation workflows.
• Experience advising on accidental and malicious insider risk and data-protection security issues.
• Expertise with DLP, Insider Threat, and CASB solutions; familiarity with SIEM/SOAR integrations.
• Strong understanding of macOS, Linux, and Windows environments, cloud applications, and services.
• Experience with technical analysis and documentation or project-management aspects of data-security incident response.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, analytical problem-solving, customer focus, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
