Integration Specialist (PLC/Robotics)

Location: USA remote, field-based, with work at customer installation locations and travel required up to 75% of the time

Salary: $82,000–$113,300 base pay annually, plus medical, dental, vision, disability, 401(k), PTO, and other benefits

What you will do

• Support startup, commissioning, configuration, and testing of PLC-controlled equipment, control cabinets, HMI systems, and robotic automation cells.
• Establish and validate HMI-to-PLC communication and integration with customer Warehouse Management Systems.
• Perform hardware, software, functionality, performance, and system integration tests against project specifications and customer requirements.
• Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot hardware and software issues under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Collaborate with engineering, software, electrical, and customer support teams during commissioning.
• Provide technical support at customer sites and help complete commissioning tasks within project timelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, robotics, industrial engineering, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience with PLC and HMI systems, including Rockwell Automation, Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or related platforms.
• Knowledge of ABB or Fanuc robotics, Ethernet/IP, Profinet, and PanelView Plus.
• Ability to read electrical drawings, with basic knowledge of SQL, relational databases, Linux, and Windows.
• Ability to troubleshoot remotely using Remote Desktop, SSH, and web browsers.
• Valid driver’s license, ability to travel by car or plane, and ability to work at customer installation sites are required.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with motion control equipment, including variable frequency drives.
