Product Engineer, Labs (AI)

Salary: $140,000–$180,000 per year, plus potential equity and benefits

hirify.global is building the data infrastructure layer for robotics and embodied AI, including systems for data capture, labeling, and hardware-enabled workflows.

What you will do

• Build end-to-end products spanning user interfaces, services, APIs, and data models.
• Work directly with users to identify bottlenecks, clarify requirements, and improve complex workflows.
• Connect tools and data through integrations, imports, exports, validation, and access controls.
• Develop reusable components while balancing maintainability with product-specific needs.
• Test, deploy, monitor, and support production systems across the stack.
• Scope releases, instrument workflows, evaluate outcomes, and communicate technical tradeoffs.

Requirements

• 4+ years of engineering experience shipping and maintaining products across frontend, backend, and databases.
• Ability to build interactive web applications and handle loading states, errors, and complex user input.
• Experience designing APIs and data models, integrating external systems, and debugging processing or storage issues.
• Ability to turn ambiguous requests into useful releases and adapt decisions based on user evidence.
• Strong ownership, independent problem-solving, and clear communication with technical and domain experts.

Nice to have

• Experience with data-intensive applications, media or document processing, or human-review workflows.
• Practical experience building AI-enabled products and evaluating their behavior in use.
• Early-stage product development experience with a small team.
