Design Engineer, Web (AI-Native) - Hybrid

Location: Hybrid in Bogota, Colombia; Buenos Aires, Argentina; Mexico City, Mexico; or Sao Paulo, Brazil. Time is split between the office, customers, and home; office attendance is expected naturally and during ramp-up or when requested by the leader.

What you will do

• Design and build website pages, templates, components, landing pages, product demos, interactive tools, and campaign experiences.
• Develop and maintain a design system and component library that enables rapid, consistent page delivery.
• Use AI tools and agentic workflows to move from briefs to production, coordinating implementation, QA, accessibility, performance, content, analytics, and localization workstreams.
• Prototype high-fidelity interactions and curate AI-generated design, layout, and component directions into production-ready experiences.
• Integrate the website into an AI-native CI/CD workflow with preview deployments, staging, automated QA, and production releases.
• Improve conversion, speed to ship, responsive behavior, accessibility, tracking, localization, and regression prevention across multiple markets.

Requirements

• 3+ years designing and shipping websites or landing pages with measurable business impact, plus a portfolio of live work with conversion results.
• Production-level HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and experience with React, Next.js, Astro, or a similar modern framework.
• Experience designing multi-step or multi-agent AI workflows, using coding agents, agent orchestration frameworks, MCP-based workflows, or similar environments.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD, Git-based workflows, preview deployments, staging, QA, and production releases.
• Expert Figma skills and experience building or maintaining design systems or component libraries with tokens, responsive behavior, states, and documentation.
• English is the working language; Spanish and Portuguese are used daily. Comfort working across multiple markets and languages is required.

Nice to have

• Experience migrating from a no-code platform to a custom stack or working with headless CMS platforms such as Sanity, Contentful, or Strapi.
• Experience building custom GPTs, AI agents, or AI-assisted content and design pipelines.
• Motion and interaction design with Lottie, GSAP, or Framer Motion.
• Experience with GA4, Mixpanel, attribution tools, feature flags, experimentation platforms, or GitHub Actions.
• Experience with multi-market portfolios, B2B SaaS, or fintech.
