Manager, Data Operations - APAC (Financial Data)

Location: Seattle, Washington, United States. This role is expected to be performed in the office 5 days a week. Unrestricted right to work in the U.S. is required.

Annual base salary: $209,144–$209,144; target annual bonus: 10%.

What you will do

• Lead the vision, strategic initiatives, staffing, budgeting, and forecasting for APAC data operations teams.
• Manage six direct reports, conduct regular 1:1s, support career development, and lead recruiting, hiring, training, and onboarding.
• Develop market knowledge, competitive benchmarking, research methodologies, and multi-year data expansion roadmaps for APAC datasets.
• Perform quality assurance on production profiles and report operational performance, challenges, and data quality results.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Go-To-Market teams to address data gaps and client needs.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to improve data collection tools, automation capabilities, and workflow efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related field with 5 years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree with 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in financial data operations, investment research, private markets intelligence, or related Data Operations roles.
• People management experience overseeing multi-regional teams, including recruiting and team development.
• Experience with SQL and/or Python, BI tools such as Power BI, operational analytics, KPI tracking, and root cause analysis.
• Experience with automation or AI-enabled research tools, APAC private and public capital markets, and regionalized research methodologies.
• Must possess unrestricted right to work in the U.S. in this position.
