Expert, Operations Data Analyst - Maintenance Asset Strategy (Flexible Location)

Location: Oakland, California, United States; hybrid work from a remote office and an assigned work location

Salary: $126,000–$200,000 annually in the Bay Area; California range of $120,000–$190,000 may also apply.

What you will do

• Develop and validate Electric Corrective Distribution maintenance work plans.
• Analyze maintenance plans against organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
• Build tools for scenario modeling, data visualization, reporting, and data delivery.
• Extract, cleanse, transfer, and analyze complex datasets for operational analysis and leadership requests.
• Improve operations tools and databases by addressing data requirements, access gaps, and process inefficiencies.
• Lead complex data analysis projects and provide direction to less experienced employees while partnering with managers and directors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, data science, computer science, STEM, engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• At least six years of job-related experience.
• Advanced expertise in data processing, statistical analysis, reporting, and data cleansing.
• Experience managing complex analysis projects with limited supervision and communicating actionable findings.
• Strong problem-solving, organization, prioritization, multitasking, and cross-functional influencing skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement from Oakland, California, and an assigned work location.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or equivalent experience and eight years of job-related experience.
• Background in asset management or utility operations.
• Familiarity with Python, Palantir Foundry, SAP, Power BI, SQL, Microsoft Office, and CoPilot.
• Expertise in statistical methods and concepts and advanced project management skills.
