TL;DR
Business Relationship Manager (Digital Systems): Bridging IT solution providers and production projects by translating business needs into IT requirements and identifying improvements across software and systems. with an accent on stakeholder alignment, interoperability, scalability, and security compliance. Focus on connecting architecture, security, infrastructure, governance, and application teams to deliver practical solutions for complex business processes.
Location: Hybrid role based in Stevenage or Portsmouth, United Kingdom; travel to other and customer sites a couple of times per year.

What you will do
- Act as a digital department consultant and collaborate with production teams.
- Build a detailed understanding of production processes, performance drivers, success metrics, and technology roadmaps.
- Identify IT improvements, bottlenecks, and process gaps, then propose feasible, traceable, scalable, interoperable, and compliant solutions.
- Translate business needs into IT requirements and champion change across architecture, security, infrastructure, governance, data transport, and applications.
- Support varied initiatives including server obsolescence and upgrades, business tool installations, and tool interface issues.
Requirements
- Eligibility to gain UK SC Security Clearance.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies, solutions, and products.
- Pragmatic, solutions-focused approach with the ability to prioritise tasks using relevant information.
- Experience coordinating and aligning internal digital stakeholders within an IT department.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business value.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with comfort working through ambiguity and change.
