Engineer 2, Interdisciplinary, Testing and Qualifications (Aerospace Testing)

What you will do

• Develop and execute test plans, procedures, methods, fixtures, and acceptance criteria from product requirements.
• Configure test articles, instrumentation, data acquisition systems, environmental equipment, and laboratory setups.
• Collect, analyze, and report accurate, traceable test data with attention to measurement uncertainty.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts, tools, fixtures, and data-processing workflows using Python and embedded C.
• Document anomalies, reproduce failures, support root cause investigations, and verify corrective actions.
• Support functional, environmental, reliability, regression, compliance, and system integration testing while maintaining test records, calibration controls, and laboratory safety requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical, computer, systems, software engineering, or a related discipline.
• 2–5 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Knowledge of verification, validation, test method development, data acquisition, and engineering measurement fundamentals.
• Experience with laboratory instrumentation, fixtures, sensors, test software, or environmental test equipment.
• Ability to convert requirements into objective, repeatable, and traceable test methods.
• Experience analyzing data, documenting anomalies, communicating results, and supporting root cause investigations.

Nice to have

• Experience in industrial instrumentation, process control, industrial automation, or related industries.
• Familiarity with SAP, ERP systems, product lifecycle management, or configuration management processes.
• Experience with automated test systems, environmental qualification testing, reliability engineering, accelerated life testing, failure analysis, or corrective action methods.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis, metrology, calibration, design of experiments, production test strategies, regulatory evidence, system integration tests, or field validation methods.
