Remote Solutions Architect (AI)

Location: Remote, work from anywhere with a choice of time zone and preferred hours

What you will do

• Share ownership of technical strategy, architectural standards, and engineering priorities.
• Own internal product and technical roadmaps based on user and business value.
• Design solution architectures for client projects and internal products from discovery through delivery.
• Join sales and pre-sales discussions to scope projects, estimate effort, and translate business goals into technical plans.
• Review architecture decisions and contribute hands-on to critical or high-risk engineering problems.
• Mentor tech leads and senior engineers while improving code quality, security, and delivery practices.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software development experience, including at least 3 years in an architect, principal engineer, or tech lead role.
• Current hands-on coding ability, including pull request reviews and prototyping.
• Experience with AI-powered engineering, AI in the software development lifecycle, and modern AI agent capabilities.
• Experience designing distributed, cloud-native, scalable systems and owning products or major features end to end.
• Experience working directly with clients or executives on scope, budgets, and technical trade-offs.
• Excellent written and spoken English and experience working in a remote, distributed team.

Nice to have

• Experience evaluating build-versus-buy decisions, technology stacks, and AI adoption based on cost, risk, and return on investment.
• Experience estimating and scoping software projects.
