Design Engineer (React/TypeScript)

Location: London, onsite five days per week. The role is based in the Old Street office, with relocation assistance available for candidates moving to London.

What you will do

• Own the website’s development, direction, quality, SEO, performance, and accessibility.
• Build polished homepage, feature, enterprise, campaign, and other product marketing experiences.
• Translate early ideas into production-ready designs and frontend implementations.
• Develop reusable components, page templates, and CMS workflows for efficient publishing.
• Improve navigation, pricing, calls to action, and smaller website updates.
• Support experimentation by building landing pages and enabling A/B testing.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience designing and building websites with work showing visual judgment and technical ability.
• Highly proficient with React, TypeScript, and Tailwind, with a solid understanding of modern frontend architecture.
• Ability to take work from an initial idea into production.
• Strong understanding of typography, layout, hierarchy, interaction, and communication through design.
• Experience with reusable components, content management, or publishing workflows.
• Comfort collaborating with marketing, design, and product colleagues and taking ownership of solutions.

• Interest in websites as a creative discipline that helps people understand products and motivates them to try them.
