Senior Software Engineer (IAM)

Location: Ljubljana, Slovenia; hybrid work with 3 days per week in the Ljubljana office

Salary: €57,700–€72,100 gross annually

hirify.global designs, builds, and operates a large constellation of imaging satellites and delivers Earth observation data through a cloud-based platform.

What you will do

• Evolve existing identity and access management services and develop new platform features.
• Design future IAM services with multiple engineering teams and cross-organizational stakeholders.
• Build tools and libraries and write technical documentation to support platform adoption.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues related to IAM solutions and infrastructure.
• Conduct design and code reviews and mentor junior developers.

Requirements

• 6+ years of software development experience and a relevant bachelor’s degree.
• Experience with Java or a similar object-oriented language, REST APIs, HTTP(S), and relational databases.
• Ability to lead technical and domain-driven discussions, align stakeholder needs, and technically guide developers.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
• Ability to work from the Ljubljana office 3 days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python, OAuth, authentication technologies, and IAM.
• Experience building scalable backend services and infrastructure with GCP or AWS.
• Expertise with Java 21+, JAX-RS, CDI, and Jackson.
• Experience with the Grafana ecosystem.
