Edge AI Engineer (Robotics)

What you will do

• Deploy machine learning models on embedded accelerator platforms such as NVIDIA Jetson and Qualcomm IQ-series.
• Optimize models and inference runtimes using quantization, pruning, distillation, ONNX, TensorRT, AIMET, and vendor SDKs.
• Profile and tune models to meet latency, power, and memory budgets on target hardware.
• Collaborate with Research, Hardware, Software, and Product to bring on-device AI from research into shipped robotic products.
• Build benchmarking, on-device evaluation, and performance regression testing across hardware targets.
• Debug quantization-related accuracy drops, latency spikes, and hardware-specific issues.

Requirements

• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a related field.
• 3+ years of ML or embedded AI engineering experience with production deployment on embedded accelerators.
• Hands-on experience with embedded AI hardware such as NVIDIA Jetson, Qualcomm IQ-series, or comparable platforms.
• Strong knowledge of quantization, pruning, distillation, architecture search, and model deployment toolchains.
• Strong Python and C++, PyTorch experience, and familiarity with embedded Linux and low-level profiling.
• Professional English required; German is a strong plus at B2–C1.
