Head of Payments Strategy & Transformation

Location: Dubai, UAE

We are looking for an experienced payments professional to join our leadership team and drive the development and implementation of new payment capabilities and operating models.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead payment transformation initiatives from strategy and design through implementation and go-live.
* Design end-to-end payment processes, workflows, controls and operating models.
* Work closely with Technology, Operations, Finance, Risk, Compliance and Commercial teams.
* Define business and technical requirements and oversee implementation, testing and operational readiness.
* Manage external technology and payment partners.
* Establish scalable processes, governance, reporting and performance metrics.
* Provide strategic guidance to senior management on payments infrastructure and industry best practices.

Ideal Candidate

* 8+ years of experience in payments, fintech, banking or financial technology.
* Strong understanding of end-to-end payment transaction lifecycles.
* Proven experience in payment product implementation or transformation, preferably in a greenfield environment.
* Strong knowledge of payment processing, settlement, reconciliation, risk and operational controls.
* Excellent programme management and stakeholder-management skills.
* Comfortable working hands-on in a fast-growing and evolving environment.
