Scientist I Validation & Lab Ops (Life Sciences)

What you will do

• Review job requests, safety data, and testing requirements in accordance with laboratory SOPs.
• Perform laboratory testing and record raw data on datasheets or electronically.
• Notify laboratory management about testing delays, problems, or deviations.
• Review timelines and resolve schedule conflicts with laboratory and project management.
• Operate, understand, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
• Support laboratory systems covering purchasing, calibration, and materials inventory.

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent work experience in biological, chemical, or engineering science.
• Knowledge of laboratory techniques and measurement methods.
• Strong analytical skills for analyzing test results and interpreting data.
• Ability to work safely and comply with health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Familiarity with PC-based programs.

Nice to have

• Previous experience understanding GMP regulations.
