What you will do

• Conduct original research into the immunological basis of hypothalamic maturation.
• Investigate how immune mechanisms shape inhibitory and excitatory hypothalamic circuits from early life through adulthood.
• Perform mouse surgeries and behavioural studies.
• Identify and develop techniques and apparatus for data collection and analysis.
• Draft publications for submission to refereed journals.
• Lead and contribute to research grant applications.

Requirements

• PhD in neuroscience, behavioural sciences, sleep, or a related discipline.
• High-impact scientific outputs as first and/or corresponding author.
• Up-to-date theoretical and practical knowledge of neuroscience, electrophysiology, behaviour, sleep, and in vivo genetic manipulation.
• Experience leading projects and teams, demonstrated through first-author publications or industry deliverables.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work with colleagues at all levels.
