AI Engineer with German – GenAI & Agentic AI (all genders) (GenAI & Agentic AI): Building production-ready GenAI and agentic AI systems for document understanding, decision support, and enterprise actions with an accent on RAG pipelines, robust APIs, and measurable AI quality. Focus on designing tool-using agents, integrating cloud and streaming platforms, automating infrastructure and deployments, and validating outputs through evaluations, guardrails, and human-in-the-loop workflows.

What you will do
- Build production-ready GenAI and agentic AI solutions that plan tasks, use tools, and execute actions in enterprise systems.
- Develop RAG pipelines and extraction logic for documents, emails, and forms, integrating platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, and Kafka.
- Create robust backends and APIs and integrate AI components through REST, events, and MCP.
- Measure AI output quality through automated evaluations, guardrails, tracing, and human-in-the-loop workflows.
- Automate infrastructure and deployments with Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD across cloud, sovereign, and on-premises platforms.
- Collaborate with architects, business stakeholders, and client teams while documenting designs and interfaces.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience, including 1–2 years of hands-on LLM application development beyond the prototype stage.
- Excellent Python skills and proficiency in Java, C#, or .NET, with experience developing APIs and interfaces.
- Hands-on experience with agentic AI frameworks, RAG, vector databases, and MCP.
- Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud, plus containers and Infrastructure as Code such as Terraform.
- Experience with CI/CD, test automation, error handling, root-cause analysis, logging, monitoring, and software quality practices.
- Business-fluent German at C1 level or higher and very good English skills required.
Nice to have
- Experience with open-weight models, vLLM, Ollama, fine-tuning, or sovereign cloud environments.
- Experience with OCR, layout analysis, multimodal models, or information extraction.
- Experience in banking, insurance, energy, or the public sector.
- Cloud or AI certifications.
