Engineering Manager with Java (Java)

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and grow an engineering team, supporting performance and career development.
• Drive greenfield initiatives and large-scale projects from concept through production.
• Provide technical leadership in system architecture and modern engineering practices.
• Plan delivery, manage risks and dependencies, and communicate progress to stakeholders.
• Partner with Product Managers and stakeholders to align priorities and outcomes.
• Improve and standardize development processes while supporting organizational change.

Requirements

• 6+ years of software development experience.
• 2+ years of people leadership and 2+ years of project or delivery management experience.
• Strong technical background in Java and system design.
• Experience with containerized cloud-native environments such as GCP or AWS.
• Very good English proficiency at B2+ level, spoken and written.
• Product mindset, end-to-end ownership, strong communication skills, and a relevant bachelor's degree.

Nice to have

• Cloud certifications.
• Scrum Master or Product Owner certification.
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD.
• Exposure to security, compliance, or enterprise environments.
